Green Tick Electrical & Renewables Ltd collects the details you submit through the savings-estimate tool to send you your estimate and arrange a free roof survey, and anonymous, cookie-free first-party analytics to understand how the site is used. We do not sell your data and we never add you to cold-calling lists.
What we collect
- Details you submit through the savings-estimate tool: your postcode (and its location), monthly electricity bill band, roof direction, and — if you choose to refine — your property type, bedrooms, occupancy, shading, battery and EV preferences, name, email and phone.
- Anonymous, cookie-free first-party analytics: page views, a random session/visitor id, and the marketing source that brought you to the site. No IP addresses are stored.
Lawful basis
We process your estimate details to send you your estimate and arrange your free roof survey (legitimate interest and the consent you give by submitting the form). Analytics is processed under legitimate interest to understand how the site is used.
How long we keep it
Estimate and contact details (name, email, phone, postcode, your home and usage answers) are kept for up to 24 months so we can respond to your enquiry and arrange your free roof survey. Anonymous, cookie-free analytics data is kept for up to 6 months.
Analytics
Our analytics is first-party and cookieless. We do not use Google Analytics, the Meta Pixel or any third-party tracking pixels. No cookies are set for analytics purposes, so no consent banner is required for this data.
Third-party processors
The site and its data are hosted on Google Cloud / Firebase (Google LLC), which acts as a processor. The roof imagery shown in the estimator is served by Esri World Imagery, and your postcode is looked up via postcodes.io — both are lookups, and we do not send them your contact details. We do not sell your data and we never add you to cold-calling lists.
Your rights
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.
